Every 90s Kid Will Remember These...
I LOVE THE NINETIES

I think we all know that the nineties were amazing. When Justin and Britney were dating, when you could wear extremely baggy shorts with no judgement because JNCO reigned supreme, when goth kids wore wallet chains, when the most stressful part of your week was when your tamagotchi died (again), when Furby was the number one seller at Toys R Us (rest in peace), when seashell necklaces were what the cool kids wore, when you went to the roller skating rink every Friday, when you had to carry extra batteries for your Game Boy, when Got Milk ads made everyone drink real milk instead of soy milk, when there were only 13 channels on TV, when Pokemon, Dragonball Z, and Saved by the Bell aired new episodes each week, when you slapped on your slap bracelet, when you had to stretch the phone cord all the way to your room to get some privacy, when the internet took 20 minutes to start working, also when the internet came on an AOL CD, when Nirvana dethroned Michael Jackson on the charts, when your skate shoes were bigger than your head, when Windows 95 was the latest and greatest, when polly pocket and transformers were your favorite toys, when you couldn't escape the rainbow haired naked trolls no matter where you ran, when the main video game consoles were Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis, when hacky sacking was a coveted skill, when glitter butterfly clips were an acceptable way to pull up your hair, when Will Smith was a Rap artist, when you had to rewind VHS tapes in a separate machine, when the USA federal deficit was going down instead of up, when there was a Fruitopia vending machine at your school, when Dunkaroos were still in production, when your most valuable items were your Beanie Babies (they'll be worth thousands some day!), when America's Funniest Home Videos is where you got your funny videos, when fruit string things were your favorite snack, when you argued about who got to sit in the banana chair, when you drank Squeezits inbetween quarters of your soccer game, when Napster was alive and well, when you carried around your Discman loaded with a NOW That's What I Call Music Volume 1 CD, when Sky Dancers and Dragon Flyz battled it out in the air, when you had your choice between Bop It and Skip It, when your sneakers lit up when you walked, when you checked out Goosebumps books from the school library, and when you went to Mcdonalds way too much so you could collect the whole collection of Happy Meal Toys before they changed.
I made this playlist to bring back a piece of that nineties kid! You've been neglecting the nineties for too long. Spin this playlist and let yourself be taken back to the funniest decade yet.
What were your favorite things in the nineties?
I have meticulously photoshopped a mashup of everything from the preceding paragraph. Please print it and hang it above your bed.
